I have been a fan of Gerald's music for years, having worn out tapes of his albums Music from the Pleiades and Sacred Music from Seven Stars. In fact, three of the tracks, "Melody of Angels," "Dancing with Angels," and "Celestial Visitation," originally appeared on the latter. This is, in my opinion, the very heart of New Age music; soft, melodic, deeply spiritual, exquisitely beautiful. Excellent for meditation or massage or simply drifting off to sleep, the music effortlessly erases the cares of the day, clears the mind and opens the heart.

Gerald composed the music and played all the instruments, including harp, strings, winds, bell angel voices and celestial sounds (I imagine he uses synthesizers). The result is musical poetry of the highest order, music so pure, innocent and free that it becomes easy to imagine flying towards heaven with angels all around.

In addition to the above-mentioned tracks, I especially liked "Flying with the Angels" and "Rainbows in the Snow," though every cut is great. For the cover, Gerald took two of Raphael's most famous little angels and put them on a keyboard for a very sweet, and eye-catching, effect. Altogether, Music of the Angels II comes highly recommended.
